Each Sunday morning we have various Bible classes available for youth and adults.

These classes meet from 9:30 am - 10:15 am.

Children are welcome to stay with their parents or attend classes by themselves. Youth classes learn about Bible stories (the creation, Noah, Jesus' birth, the resurrection, etc.), explore Christian principles (the fruit of the spirit, beattitudes, etc), discover how to navigate the Bible, and discuss what living like Jesus looks like in today's world.

All of our youth teachers are background checked.

Adult classes focus on a variety of topics. Church members take turns leading discussions and preparing lessons. We've recently studied topics such as women's roles in worship, Christian fundamentals, and what a healthy church's heart looks like.

worship service

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:30 am.

Through bible study and prayer, our congregation has reached the belief that women, as well as men, should be encouraged to serve during our worship service. During our service, you will see the men and women of our congregation serving together. We believe that the purpose of our Sunday morning worship is to gather together in fellowship to praise and glorify God. We use our worship service to focus on our savior, Jesus Christ, his love and holy word, and to reflect on our mission of continuing the ministry of Jesus. We worship so that God may be glorified.

We sing a mix of traditional and contemporary hymns and do so a cappella (voices-only, without instrumental accompaniment). When a month has 5 Sundays, we select a week to forgo the sermon in our service (typically the last Sunday of that month), and spend more time singing together.

We take communion, The Lord's Supper, each Sunday together. We pass unleavened bread to symbolize the body of Christ. We pass grape juice to symbolize the blood that Jesus shed for us on the cross. Participation in this part of our service is open to anyone who feels compelled to take part. Our focus during this time in our service is on Jesus, his atoning sacrifice, and the promise we have in the resurrection.

During our service, scripture readings are given and the congregation is led in prayers. At the end of our service, we offer an opportunity for anyone to request prayers about specific needs. If you'd like us to pray for you privately, you can let us know about your need here.

Most Sundays we have a brief sermon given by one of our members. We rotate each week and take turns preaching.

In our worship service, you'll likely see a mix of attire. We don't have a dress code and don't ask that you wear anything specific when you join us. Some of us like to dress up, some of us prefer jeans. All of us just want to worship God together.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month we have a separate Children's Worship service formatted for children ages 3-8. This typically takes place about halfway through our worship service. Once it's announced, the children head to one of the classrooms along with the Children's Worship teacher. All of the teachers who work with the youth are background checked.

wednesday evening Small group

Each Wednesday evening, from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm we have a mid-week devotional. This is usually a casual setting and currently takes place at the home of the Hurley family. It's usually a smaller group than what we experience on Sunday mornings, but we still sing, pray, and study the Bible together. We fellowship together and use these meetings as an opportunity to touch base with our church family during the week. Children are welcome, though there is no formal children's class that takes place.
